    Hello.

    My name is von.  I am the boss, but nobody understands me.  I am sure my staff are all out to get me.  Does anybody else feel this way?

    I always arrive late at the office, but I make up for it by leaving early.

     Hi Von,

    Welcome to the forum.  You are not alone, there are loads of middle management out there that are misunderstood by their staff.  Ask yourslef these questions

    1.  Do you socialise with your staff ?
    2.  Do you drive a lower spec car than you staff ?
    3.  Are you respected by your staff ?
    4.  Would you die for your staff ?

    If you can answer NO to any of the above, then you are indeed a Sad Bastard and have found your natural home (And yes, your staff do hate you!)
